  • Cardiologist, PhD in Medical Sciences, Assistant at the Department of Family Medicine. Chngryan Gayane Vachikivna is a PhD in Medical Sciences, Assistant at the Department of Family Medicine of the Faculty of Postgraduate Education at Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. She is a first-category cardiologist certified by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, a member of the European Society of Cardiology, the Ukrainian Society of Cardiology, and the Association of Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine.
Education
  • 1995–2001 – Higher medical education at the Faculty of Medicine, Danylo Halytsky Lviv State Medical University, specialty “General Medicine.”
  • 2001–2005 – Clinical residency in Cardiology at the Department of Family Medicine, Danylo Halytsky LNMU, based at the Infarction Unit of the Lviv Emergency Hospital.
  • Since 2007 – Assistant at the Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Postgraduate Education, Danylo Halytsky LNMU.
  • 2009 – Specialist certificate in “General Practice – Family Medicine.”
  • 2015 – Successfully defended her PhD thesis: “Myocardial hibernation in acute forms of coronary artery disease: clinical features, ultrastructural manifestations, diagnostics, and treatment.”
  • 2016 – Specialist certificate in “Functional Diagnostics.”
  • 2019 – Specialist certificate in “Rheumatology.”
Scientific Achievements
  • Co-investigator of the fundamental study “Characteristics of the mechanisms and clinical course of acute and chronic forms of coronary artery disease depending on risk factors”, as well as two Ministry of Health–funded projects: “Myocardial hibernation in arterial hypertension and acute myocardial infarction as a predictor of cardiomyocyte apoptosis, left ventricular dysfunction, and heart failure.” and “Impact of acute myocardial infarction, arterial hypertension, and type 2 diabetes mellitus on myocardial ultrastructural remodeling and heart failure development.”
  • Has significant achievements in cellular cardiology.
  • She has experience conducting clinical trials of medicinal products and has participated as a sub-investigator in three randomized, multicenter, placebo-controlled studies.
Scientific Publications and Conferences
  • Co-author of 117 published works, including international publications. Speaker at national and international congresses and conferences, including: World Congress on Heart Failure (2002, Washington, USA), Hypertension Congress (2014, Athens, Greece, European Society of Cardiology Congress (2017, Paris, France) She is a regular speaker at the Ukrainian Congress of Cardiologists. Co-author of a Ukrainian patent. Member of the Association of Preventive and Anti-Aging Medicine and co-organizer of the Union of Armenian Doctors of Ukraine.
