Kikhtiak Taras Andriiovych

• Taras Andriiovych Kikhtiak, a vascular surgery specialist and resident of the Vascular Surgery Department of the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital, provides both elective and urgent surgical care to patients with vascular pathology. With his participation, more than 300 surgical procedures are performed annually.
• He began his career as a district surgeon at the Mykolaiv Central District Hospital, where he was assigned as a young specialist after graduating with honors from Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.
• Taras Andriiovych Kikhtiak is a member of the Association of Vascular Surgeons, Phlebologists and Angiologists of Ukraine, as well as the World Federation of Ukrainian Medical Associations. He is an active participant and attendee of events organized by the European Society for Vascular Surgery.
• He continuously improves his professional qualifications through postgraduate thematic courses in Ukraine and international training in leading clinics abroad. In particular, he completed training and practical work at the John Paul II Specialist Hospital in Kraków, in the Department of Clinical Cardiac, Vascular and Transplant Surgery (Krakowski Szpital Specjalistyczny im. Jana Pawła II, Oddział Kliniczny Chirurgii Serca, Naczyń i Transplantologii). He also completed a lecture course by Prof. François Uhl (France) on “Clinical 3D Anatomy of the Venous System of the Lower Limbs. Diagnostic Capabilities of the 21st Century,” and received a U.S. certificate (United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases) for completing the course “Good Clinical Practice Education.”

• Taras Andriiovych Kikhtiak has participated in and spoken at numerous scientific and professional forums, including: • Speaker at the regional forum for Europe, Canada, Asia, and Africa (Antalya, Turkey); 21st Congress of Surgeons of Ukraine; 2nd Congress of Vascular and Endovascular Surgeons of Ukraine (Lviv, Ukraine); 3rd Congress of Vascular Surgeons and Angiologists of Ukraine (Donetsk, Ukraine); 13th Congress of the World Federation of Ukrainian Medical Associations (Lviv, Ukraine); First All-Ukrainian Phlebology Conference with international participation (Yaremche, Ukraine); Medical Business Forum of the International Charitable Foundation with participation of former Minister of Health A. Kvitashvili and leading medical experts (Kyiv, Ukraine); and many other national and international scientific-practical conferences.
• Taras Andriiovych Kikhtiak is the author and co-author of more than 20 scientific publications.
