Yarema Yaroslav Ihorovych

Biography

In 2004, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of General Medicine of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University with a degree in “General Medicine.”
From 2004 to 2006, he completed an internship in “Surgery” at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Postgraduate Education, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.
At the same time, he studied in the master's program at the Department of Surgery No. 2 and defended his master's thesis, “Treatment of Critical Lower Limb Ischemia in Patients with Femoral-Tibial Segment Occlusions,” receiving honors.
From October 2006 to June 2022, he worked as a vascular surgeon at the Department of Vascular Surgery and the Center for Organ and Tissue Transplantation at the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital.

In January 2007, he received his vascular surgeon certification. In 2012, he completed specialization courses in “Transplantology.”
In 2019, he defended his PhD thesis titled: “Surgical Treatment of Critical Lower Limb Ischemia in Patients with Occlusive-Stenotic Lesions of the Tibial Arteries.”
He has 17 years of experience as a vascular surgeon. He is the author of 25 scientific articles in professional vascular surgery and transplantology journals, as well as a co-author of a patent for an invention.
Since September 2021, he has been working as an Assistant at the Department of Surgery No. 2 of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University as his main place of employment.
