Yarema Yaroslav Ihorovych

Biography
  • In 2004, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of General Medicine of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University with a degree in “General Medicine.”
  • From 2004 to 2006, he completed an internship in “Surgery” at the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Postgraduate Education, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.
  • At the same time, he studied in the master's program at the Department of Surgery No. 2 and defended his master's thesis, “Treatment of Critical Lower Limb Ischemia in Patients with Femoral-Tibial Segment Occlusions,” receiving honors.
  • From October 2006 to June 2022, he worked as a vascular surgeon at the Department of Vascular Surgery and the Center for Organ and Tissue Transplantation at the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital.
  • In January 2007, he received his vascular surgeon certification. In 2012, he completed specialization courses in “Transplantology.”
  • In 2019, he defended his PhD thesis titled: “Surgical Treatment of Critical Lower Limb Ischemia in Patients with Occlusive-Stenotic Lesions of the Tibial Arteries.”
  • He has 17 years of experience as a vascular surgeon. He is the author of 25 scientific articles in professional vascular surgery and transplantology journals, as well as a co-author of a patent for an invention.
  • Since September 2021, he has been working as an Assistant at the Department of Surgery No. 2 of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University as his main place of employment.
